Science Week in class was great fun, we carried out lots of cool experiments and enjoyed every one! We were super excited when our butterfly Belle emerged from her chrysalis just in time for Science Week. Much to our delight, she landed on our hands and was very friendly. We loved all of our experiments but we especially enjoyed launching our balloon rockets and building our very own volcanoes in the classroom. We were busy learning about static electricity and forces too. Some of our experiments were a little bit messy but we made special Science Week aprons to keep our clothes clean. Having read about oobleck in a Dr. Seuss story, we had fun making and playing with our own oobleck in class. For our very last experiment of the week we melted chocolate and made some delicious Friday treats!
