September in Ms. Conway’s Síolta Beaga

September has been a busy month in our classroom. We were very happy to return to the familiar school routine and catch up with our friends at the end of August. Lots of fun was had in the weeks that followed. We tried our hands at tie-dying for the first time and created our very own tie dye t-shirts. We loved modelling them on the catwalk for all of our friends. We made special dream jars on Roald Dahl Day and celebrated World Heart Day by sampling lots of healthy foods and going for a jog around Green Park. We began to use skipping ropes for the first time too and practised every day. We also discovered lots of facts about earthworms and made a wormery in our classroom. We especially enjoyed using our magnifying glass to examine the worms. Well done to Méabh, Mikey and Lorcan who made their First Confession.
