Over 60 6th class pupils from Bunscoil Mhuire, Youghal are taking part in the Say Yes to Languages primary sampler module. The module offers an introduction into a variety of modern foreign languages (MFL) as well as Irish Sign Language (ISL) and seeks to raise awareness among pupils of the languages spoken in their school environment and local community.
Our 6th Class pupils are saying Ja to Deutsch (Yes to German). They recently enjoyed learning about the German Christmas culture and sampling some German food typically eaten during Christmas time including Apfelstrudel, Lebkuchen and Stollen. Apfelstrudel seemed to be a big hit! Guten Appetit!!
