This year we have transformed a disused area into a sensory garden for the five autism classes in our school. Supported by the Parents Association, Youghal CU and the Board of Management we have created a calming outdoor space for the children to regulate and play safely.
Lots of local East Cork businesses donated to make this project a reality. We say a special thanks to Brodericks Hardware and Dulex Paint, Jysk Youghal, Mogeely Co Op Superstores, Carewswood Garden Centre, Midleton Aggregate, Cal Flavins and Tesco Youghal.
A big thank you to all the teachers, SNAs, students and Tom who worked together to create this wonderful facility for our school.
